In 2008 or so, the Dutch Elderly care program was launched to increase quality of care for elderly by increasing cooperation between all thos involved and increase the geriatric expertise. These programmes and 8 large trials did not show any positive results .Qualitative data shows a great satisfactiong of better coordination, person centered care (case management).
